I have gotten a few people telling me they are using VT, and they had some concerns. So I decided to do a bit of work on it in attempt to address them...

Depending on how interested I get, more changes may be coming soon, too.

Changelog:

== 0.3.0.19 (1/27/2009) ==
Features:
- A new option has been added to control the behavior of the macro when casting debuffs (DebuffEachFirst). This setting has three possible values:
* One: One monster will be debuffed, then the macro will attack that monster. (This is the default)
* Priority: All monsters of the same priority will be debuffed, then attacked, then the same will occur for anything of lower priority.
* All: All monsters will be debuffed before any are attacked, regardless of priority.
- Macro now by default turns off when you die. This behavior is controlled by the new StopMacroOnDeath variable.
- Int and Double typed variables can now be edited in the Advanced Options panel, as opposed to just through the commandline.
- Burning coals will no longer be automatically added to the foods list when generating an automatic profile.
- When generating an automatic profile, weapons for which you do not have the skill trained will no longer be added.
- The example loot file from the website has been included with the installer.
- A few things I did months ago and since lost track of.

Very, very nice!

- The debuff and kill one at a time is great for certain environments and mobs, especially ones that do a lot of damage where eliminating one increases survivability substantially

- Thanks again for the macro-off-on-death change

- Finding the loot profile on one of your pages (but not on the download page) was ultimately what made my switch successful; adding it to the installer will help many get started

The version numbers are not strictly sequential

>> where is the now included in install loot profile example? name of file? what do i view it with?

In the install directory. Open it with the settings editor exe.

V-I got a strange incident report.

melee, staff toon: in items section the spinning staff of death, shield and a trainer wand (no war spells have been learned).

everything set up. no monsters listed just the auto. check run macro. toon switchs from shield/staff to trainer wand and dies as i can't turn off quick enough and re-arm staff/shield. Confrimed this action twice.

next time have the particular monster listed with auto attack and indicating the spinning staff of death as the weapon of choice for those eaters.

will attack not die.

It's acting as if the spinning staff of death(quest item) is not a valid auto select weapon unless it is specifically idented as the weapon to use. stupid melee would rather hold a trainer wand with no war spells then a listed staff/melee weapon.

GO FIGURE. just goes to show how dumb melee's can be........... j/k

That is expected. Right now when looking for an 'auto' weapon, it only looks at weapons with an element rend on them (not cleaving).

ok, good thing to know.

but if only looks for a weapon with rending on why settle on training wand when a staff is listed?
