Yep, that's pretty much my view of it. My rules and Turbine's say you can't UCM with the plugin, but obviously that doesn't mean much to someone who doesn't care to obey rules.

That's not my problem. I designed a plugin for a particular purpose (ACM), and I will only add features concurrent with that purpose. So while it is possible to UCM with VT, that is merely due to the similarity of ACM and UCM. Where needs diverge, such as autofellow, you will find that a plugin designed for your intended purpose will likely serve you better.

Do I hate UCMers? Not really*. That's just not what the plugin is designed for.


*Though it does bug me a lot that many UCMers have a total disregard for fellowship quality

I'm not sure which opinion you're referring to. The only opinion I expressed was that people who care about VI's rules and not about Turbine's are funny.

They both provide us a service, but people seem to think that since they do not pay VI with money they should pay her with obedience. Or, perhaps, their gratitude to Turbine has faded while their gratitude to VI remains, regardless of money. It's probably the latter, in combination with seeing VI as a person, whereas Turbine's seen as "just a business."

VI certainly deserves the more gratitude, since she's improved gameplay far more than Turbine in the past months, in my opinion at least.

if turbine actually gave a shit about the coc, and more specifically UCM.. this game would be dead as 80% would be banned / unsub

Dirty Elf, perhaps you need to look elsewhere for what you desire, you don't seem to be finding it here (or learn to write one yourself).

now that the UCM police is on to me i dont suppose anyone here would want to help me out with an old (02-03) plugin that is no longer compatible with the current decal? is it an easy fix to update it, or no?

i found an old one on one of my old old old machines...
