you know I was tempted to ask the obvious, but fealt it was too insulting to do so.


the other week I couldnt for the life of me figure out why one bot was not functioning and refusing to cast. Seems he was out of mana scarabs and the 2 or 3 times i checked I missed that obvious fact.


SO please get mana scarabs into the next update on comps command.

Not the best way for the program to work, but it is what it is. If you have a Foci pack, doesn't matter which one, and you have prismatic tapers, good to go. If no foci packs then it checks to see what comps are needed according to spellfilter.

Now the way around this would be to check to see if the person has the augmentation for not requiring comps, and if so to forget about checking for foci or comps. I'll look at adding this.

I took the same toon, and a did a forced buff with LifeTank and VTank, and both buffed without the foci and comps. Just an FYI.

Because neither LTX nor VTank explicitly checks for available comps before attempting to cast. The downside is that if you run out of a particular scarab, for instance, they will not 'fall back' to another spell level.

I think I have the code added for mana scarabs, soon as I get the augmentation check in I'll get a DLL out for testing.

maddy, here is an idea for your less then spare, spare time.


the horns of leadership(skill leader) and the medals of loyality(skilled loyal) for mana and stamina are useable once every 30 seconds and apply to the fellowship. BUT, if one leaves the fellowship AFTER the spell(s) are applied the spells still last for 30 minutes.


SO, I'm thinking, when buffing a toon the bot invites the yahoo into the bot's one man/woman/person fellowship and then at the very end uses the horn of leadership, medal of loyalitys to give the other toon a 30 minute boost of health, stamina and mana, before kicking the buffee out of the fellowship.


in theory sounds simple enough, but then so did adding the mana scarabs to the components listing back when they came out.

maddy, what is the current version of castaway?


the decal plugin index lists 1.8 or something, yet when i go to the linked page, some kind of apache 3 listing of dl, something, and forum, all i see is an *.msi which when de-zipped installs as the rather ancient 1.7.0.906.


IS that truely the lastest release, or is the plugin page pointing to the wrong location and I'm getting the wrong download?
