DHS is now enabled but I still get the same error !

Is this happening on every character, or just one/some? And do you see the message 'AC+ 2.0.0.1978 loaded.. etc.'?

There are just two characters that are having the problem - on different accounts.


By coincidence they are both archers. The AC+ has loaded message does not come up on screen for either.


Other than the Shortcut Bar blacking out when when it is selected to show remaining items on a few characters I have no other problems.


BTW, sorry to give you rough time but are you handling problems with Mini Map ?

Ok, I suspect it's the saved options for those characters that are somehow screwing it up when it tries to start.
Open windows explorer and type '%APPDATA%\ACPlus' into the address bar, and a list of files should appear, in the format '<server>-<character>.xml'. Find the ones for the two characters that are affected, and delete them, and see if that works.

The shortcut bar blacking out only happens when you've got nothing on your shortcut bar that is stackable; TBH, I thought I'd fixed that. I'll take another look.

What's the problem with MiniMap?

When I have Mini Map running either with AC Dual Client or without it I can only get the map in my radar circle and if I log out still in the dungeon or building the map stays even on the character selection screen. When I bring in another character on that account the old map and the new map overlap in the radar circle such that it becomes impossible to decipher it.


The only cure is to close the account down and then restart it !


This has been happening since I started using Mini Map.


Is there a reason for this and is there a cure.

Turns out it wasn't getting rid of the radar when you logged out, if you're using 800x600 resolution.

i just did an export, to see if it sheds any light on being spammed with experiance messages. it does seem to be after changing between chars, muling, etc. if i close ac, close decal entirely, then restart it all, it'll clear out. turning the OPTION off in /ac+ does nothing, and occasionally i get the invalid command when trying to use /ac+

Ok, the problem with the experience messages spamming is just because part of the plugin isn't shutting down properly when you log out, so it's still there doing it's job the next time you log in. I've got a fix for that (I think), but I'm still testing it. Right now, just disabling that option should at least prevent the spam for now.

As for the /ac+ command not working sometimes, that's because something's breaking while it's starting up; I'm working on making the code a bit more robust to handle it gracefully if anything goes wrong, but it's a fairly complex plugin, there's a lot that can go wrong!

I'm hoping to have a new version out before the holidays.
