Updating instructions

Go Arrow:

1) Open Go Arrow and go to Atlas > Update

2) Change the URL to wherever you saved the new data_cod.xml file. (In my case C:\data_cod.xml)

3) Make sure Database Type is set to Crossroads of Dereth.

Dereth Explorer:

1) Back Up your existing data_cod.xml file located at C:\program files\Dereth Explorer\Data\data_cod.xml by default

2) Copy the new Data_cod.xml file to C:\program files\Dereth Explorer\Data\


I would like the Asheron's Call Community to verify these locations in your travels. If you happen to notice any errors, Wrong locations / Coordinates, mis-spellings, errors with the quest(s) attached to any location or NPC, ect. ect. Feel free to drop me a message either here or in-game if I happen to be around.

Again (and over the last update Darktorizo did last month in November) another wonderful addition to the known knowledge of AC. This update includes over 500+ more entries over the November's 4000+ entries.


From what I can see quickly reviewing this, a LOT of the descriptions have been cleaned up. Added in are more indications of what quest to look up to relate to the location/object. I see a lot of updating of the level requirments or removal where there are none now . The old HTML code built into it has been filtered. (So far, I see no problems on that.)


As much as we have wonderful information on the fan web sites (like AC Wiki) , this heads up display in-game with GoArrow is a great quick reference to finding our way around.

I would love to design decal plugins and give to the community that way, but alas I am not very good with coding. I figure at least this way I am giving back to the community that has given us (the players) so very much.

Thank you to all who have made AC and Decal possible, as well as the Decal Plugin creators.


I will try to keep up with updating the CoD database file as much as possible, and integrate new items as they are added.

I can't find original DL of go arrow.... any working links

Whenever I try this, it fails and I get the following message.

<{ GoArrow }> Error downloading file [WebException]: An exception occurred during a WebClient request.

Unfortunately I have not encountered that error before. Perhaps someone else knows...

I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Go Arrow, and get the same result.

Maybe this has something to do with my Skunkvision going haywire. Just started about a week and a half ago now. I will post an export, maybe that will help.
