it's definitely a buff issue, i had the same problems, i think it's somehow related to buff items that use a timer hence the issue with joker decks as they last 10 minutes but the timer on re use is 1 hour, I am sure there are several other spells liek that, try either dying so all buffs go or wait till all buffs run out, this should then make your plugins work, you can then try and identify which spell gives you the issue

I will try that. It is now happening with a different player...

Specifically Ammo Gimp and Alino 3 and quest timer are not working. Here are the logs

AmmoGimp

Quest timer

Alinco 3

Many plugins (including QuestTimer) do important initialization when the char has fully logged in.

If you have the Deck of Eyes cooldown timer active on a char at login-time, then an apparent decal bug prevents the LoginComplete event from being issued to plugins. Maybe there are other side-effects but this is the most obvious.

The symptom of this is most visible in QuestTimer because in this situation QuestTimer tries to do something periodically (in a timer) with a view control that's not initialized yet (not until LoginComplete) and the error handler prints something out every few seconds. Many plugins don't work but you just can't tell until you try to use them... Anything that relies on that call from Decal won't work until the cooldown timer expires and you relog.

I don't know of any workaround if you hit this other than waiting out the timer and relogging, but I would be happy to provide more info to a decal dev interested in fixing it ... the hour timer is a pretty long time to wait.

I'd like to learn more about this, but I would probably have to get a jester deck first. It's unfortunate it takes so long to build one.
