After recently returning to AC I've found my lifetank to not be working, I've reinstalled it several times with no luck. I'm using Windows Vista 32-Bit but never had issues with decal or any plugin before. The only real information I have is the message I get when I enter game:

[LTx] LifeTank could not initialize properly. Please check the Errors.txt log in your Lifetank\Logs\ directory for more information.
[LTx] Unloading Plugin...

Sadly it never makes the Logs directory or the Errors.txt file. I'm not sure if something is not installing or not so to be on the safe side I'll post what files to get installed:

Aside from that there is nothing in the LifeTank X directory.

I was told it may help to provide a decal export so here it is:

where stuff AC, decal, decal plugins) are installed makes a huge difference. read up on NOT installing these to the default c:\program files directory but to a new c:\games directory where they can have WRITE premission.

This would make sense but I forgot to mention, UAC is off. As well as AC is in C:\GAMES and LifeTank is in C:\LifeTank X. Aside from that I've double checked all ownership of files and permissions they have, there should be no reason for it not being able to write.

Microsoft Security Essentials. I also probably should have noted LifeTank is the only plugin giving issues. Mule Trade It, GoArrow, Quack, SkunkVision, ScrollReader3, Scroll Watcher and Quest Timer work fine.

So I tried to install CastAway out of curiosity if it may be more then just LifeTank X, CastAway crashed my AC the second I would log into a toon. How ever I was able to install Corpse Tracker and Radar Add-on without any issues, so I am clueless as to what this means.

The reason I asked about the anti-virus is because its possible for the anti-virus program to be blocking it from writing to a file.

Update: I tried older versions of LifeTank X the only one I managed to get to work is LifeTank X v11.7.09 which is good but inconvenient with all the updates that have happen since then. Hopefully this might shed some light for some people.

You should check out Virindi Tank. It works a lot better. The ability to integrate with Alinco is wonderful.
