Rares are getting an overhaul tomorrow and sucks that alinco won't loot any of them when running with virindi tank.

Make sure you have Auto Pickup enabled in Alinco3 settings.

I think he means the bug that when used in conjunction with VT rares often do not get looted while everything else does. I think someone was going to type out all the rares and add them as trophies. If someone did, do you mind posting the list to be copied and paste?

Problem with that is, there are alot of new armor/weapon rares. Plus some other things i've been hearing about. Really wish someone could figure this out.

I believe we have only two options. Add all known rares to trophies to be looted or go through the learning process to learn VTs looting engine. I have been intimidated so far by it. Plus it doesn't seem to be as easy to update rules but haven't completely looked into it so far. Would be nice though if the issue was fixed. There are other reasons i use Alinco. Nice just handling everything from one central spot.

Um... you forgot the easiest option... double clicking on the item in the corpse will move that item to your inventory. If 2 mouse clicks is more than you are capable of, set up a hot key on your keyboard config which would only require pushing 1 key to loot.

You are right and that is a third option. I tend to hunt in the hives a lot, not EO, and sometimes things get a bit hectic and prefer another option in making sure i don't accidentally miss out on a rare. If you are not familiar, the spawn rate is insanely high and in no time there will be literally upwards to 100 corpses laying around. If you did happen to mess up it would be almost impossible to find the corpse again. The plug in trying to loot helps prevent you from switching to quick and missing something. I do use my / key to cycle. I know the other option would be to switch slower but i prefer to kill more if possible. I like fighting there because it is fast pace.

Sho, have you ever tried looting a rare with Vtank doing its thing?

If you don't sit there with your hand on the mouse and staring at the screen and have reflexes like a kittie, you are not going to get it on the first try. And if there are a pile of corpses around you (locked by vtank) you will never be able to cycle through them before the next spawn.

Instead of acting like everyone just wants to ucm, how about throwing something constructive out.

Well, no, I've never used VTank. UCM? Never mentioned it. Constructive? I thought I was, but I guess not. I simply figured that since you're sitting there, and watching things mess up, you can just use Fingers v2.1. I know there's an issue with Alinco and Vtank, so it seems that until that is resolved it would make sense to loot manually. If you can't keep up with the corpses, simply turn off VTank and use Alnco alone for a while. I know sometimes it's easy to miss things on corpses, I think we've all done that. I now have Alinco set up so when there is an item match, Alinco does everything except reaching out and smacking me. lol

If you want to loot manually, turn off autolooting in VTank. That way, you can set a key in AC to use closest unopened corpse and open them yourself, and it won't close them.

If you're doing this, you can use the 'pause' key hotkey to start and stop the macro if you want to loot while it would otherwise be fighting.
