I downloaded Decal and a few plugins pretty much without any problems, however when I load Decal, and then log in to AC (Blue bubble bar screen and so on) the graphics are seriously messed up, like some parts of the screen are blank and some parts aren't, and some images are overlapping one another. I closed Decal and loaded AC up without Decla being open and the graphics were fine when Decal isn't open.


Is this a common problem or has anyone had and been able to fix this problem? Any help appreciated!

what os you running, where did you install decal/plugins?

Sorry if I've done something wrong =o


I'm running Windows Vista, everything seemed to install without any problems, it's just this graphics issue. I've downloaded the following plugin's -- Lifetank, Skunk Vision, Quest Timer, Go Arrow, Target Info.


I downloaded the Decal programme from http://decal.dreagis.com


And the plugins I got from http://www.dereth.info/index.php?ind=utility_info


EDIT - Oh, and I installed the plugin's to C:Games. I created a new folder since I read something about installing in programme files is kinda bad for Decal if the OS is Vista.

Post a decal export please. Open up decal and hit the export button and then paste that information here.

I do not remember seeing this injection method before.

What happens if you open decal and uncheck that? See if you still get graphic errors.

EDIT - sorry just noticed you have AC installed under program files. If you are using Vista or Win7 you should install that someplace other than program files. c:\games or c:\users\public\games for example.

I fail really badly with things like this, how can I move the AC installation from it's current location to say...the location you've just mentioned? Tried cutting / pasting and dragging the folder over but it's not working.


EDIT - It's because I was logged in AC that it wouldn't work, I've cut / pasted the installation to public / games, but now Decal is giving me the message -- Please select Asheron's Call installation directory.

Uninstall AC and reinstall it. Change the path during installation.

Just reinstalling AC now with the new directory path, will I have to uninstall / reinstall Decal also?
