A clannie is having issues with Infected Spirit Caress

SO, what should the equivalent line for the following be?

<Spell Name="Infected Spirit Caress"/>

Craftbot pulled the following info for the spell as follows:

3259: Infected Spirit Caress -- Increases the elemental damage bonus of an elemental magic caster by 7%.

Can someone give me a cut n paste example of what the result should look like for the SpellId version of the line?

That should work, but what issues are they having with the spell name? Should be zero with that spell.

1) What files are upgraded?


I'd hate to dl the file/install and see my heavily reworked spell/sayings xml files destroyed.


2) Where do the xml files get installed?


I think i've seen compies at two levels one in a folder of the bot's name and one higher up the folder chain.

Only file is the DLL, it won't replace any existing XML file.

wondering was there ever an update to the comps command for mana and plat scarabs?

My clannie, Kon can put the name version in to the XML and the bot will not use it, cast etc. I believe he talked to you at some point. He is testing out the spellid version now, I'll let you know if it works or not.

Sounds like it is working now, he deleted all the files and re-installed.

He had reloaded everything and the bot was still having issues until he added the spellid version of the line for the XML , it started working after getting that in Place I believe (I had to log after giving him the new spellid version).
Still choice is good :^) 2 ways of taking care of stuff is a good choice.
