Try something for me Jet. I have heard of a few instances where skunkvision caused problems.


Completely uninstall it and then see what happens.


Edit: Also, when you install alinco, does it give you the option to install to c:/games, or are you having to change the install directory. I ask this because we had a guy who was installing to the default directory one time and then just moving the files over. This doesn't work.


Also, check here and make sure you have everything that you need for 7.....

Edit Edit: One more thing....does Win7 have a UAC option? If so, completely disable it and see if it helps any.

Why do people even suggest this? There is absolutely NO reason to disable UAC, if you follow the steps that I posted in the sticky thread.

I suggest this because not all programs let you change the install directory. If you HAVE to install something to the C:/ directory, disabling the UAC will allow the program to write to the directory.

Have tried everything on this thread so far (uninstall/reinstall, skunvision ,etc) nothing has worked.

The plugins that wont load in game are : Alinco3, Everything else loads fine.

Where did you get that version of Alinco? Looking on the developers website its showing a different version than you have.
The latest on the website is 1.0.1.8, but you have 1.0.1.9.

as you say net framework 3.5 is installed so that shouldn't be a problem


ONE issue i had seemed to be the order that stuff was installed. I had alinco3 installed early and it showed up IG on the decal strip but VTank didn't recognize that it was installed for the alinco.los connection.


I de-installed and then re-installed alinco3 and that cleared the issue. as you had that weirdness of using some recomplied version i'm wondering if you don't also have some registery issues. MY last suggestion would be to de-installed alinco, delete the entire folder and then regedit hkey_local_machine, software, decal, plugins and ensure that any entry for alinco has been totally removed.


then reinstall alinco3, yes the web site shows 1.08 and installed it reads 1.0.9
