I get this msg...

Alinco3: Exception occured see file (errors.txt) for more details.

Then on the files is says this....

Alinco3 Version: 1.0.1.9

OSVersion : Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6002 Service Pack 2

.NET Framework : 2.0.50727.4206

09-13-10 18:08:43 bject reference not set to an instance of an object.

at Alinco.Plugin.getAlert(String key) in C:\Users\Rob\Documents\Source\Alincoroot\Alinco3\Alinco\Plugin.NotifyObject.vb:line 1561

at Alinco.Plugin.CheckObjectForMatch(IdentifiedObject objNotify, Boolean manualIdent) in C:\Users\Rob\Documents\Source\Alincoroot\Alinco3\Alinco\Plugin.NotifyObject.vb:line 431

It worked fine, then started this out of the blue. I thought it might be a VT issue but its not.

Ive reinstalled it 3 times and still the same problem. Please help if can..

Check all ur loot settings.

That error kinda looks like it's trying to match something that isn't possible. Although I could be reading that wrong.

Also...have you picked up any new items recently that you keep in your pack? Could possibly be trying to id something in your pack that has been added recently to the game and it's causing it to freak out.

Nothing new in pack. Everything is all the same. Loot settings are all right. I changed nothing. It will still id items but the looting on it is all messed up. It wont identify portals or anything like that though.

Just noticed those. What kinda setup are you running? If you installed everything default, alinco (and most plugins for that matter) will look for AC in C:/

Any specific reason you are using the alternate injection method?

No reason for it really, i have it on /c and /d drives.

The problem is when it comes to Iding items, I get that error msg when it trys to ID portals or items it

should pick up.

Mine was working fine last night, today nope. Logged out, back in again and error.txt message.

Checked boards to see if anything to see to find your post.

Oddly enough the one line in my error txt stuck me funny and is the same in yours. Where it goes to write it suddenly has the c:documents/settings etc user/rob ---------no rob on my computer and I'm guessing your name isnt rob either.

Appears to have switched to some user account with no direction from me to do so. Nor can i see where I can point it to the right and usual folder it was using.

Do you have duplicates of everything installed on both drives?

Hmm....just noticed the Rob thing he was talkin about. Think I have an error log, lemme see what the path is.

Edit: Nope, no Rob. Nav to the C:/Users and see if you actually have a Rob folder there.
