Updating instructions


Go Arrow:

1) Open Go Arrow and go to Atlas > Update

2) Change the URL to wherever you saved the new data_cod.xml file. (In my case C:\data_cod.xml)

3) Make sure Database Type is set to Crossroads of Dereth.

4) Click Update, when Finished click Update a Second time.

Or:

1) Open Go Arrow and go to Atlas > Update

2) Change the URL to <One of the URLs Below>

1) Back Up your existing data_cod.xml file located at C:\Program Files\Dereth Explorer\Data\data_cod.xml by default

2) Copy the new Data_cod.xml file to C:\program files\Dereth Explorer\Data\

If you happen to notice any errors, Wrong locations / Coordinates, mis-spellings, errors with the quest(s) attached to any location or NPC, ect. ect. WHen I try to update using the town network with directions I get this error


15:17:15 <{ GoArrow }> Failed to open downloaded locations file; make sure you have the right database URL and type selected (XmlException: Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1.)


I followed your directions step by step and double checked everything. I was able to update with the town networks and no directions however....


any ideas?
