For all you old-timers who remember Moputu's Dysfunctional plugin, I have created a combined spellbar and hotbar replacement.

It requires the Virindi Bundle (specifically: Virindi Views, and Virindi Hotkey System) so if you want to try it, you will need those installed.

The features: Hotkeys for buttons 1234567890-= (if you use - and = for selecting things, you'll need to either change the hotkeys in VHS or change AC's hotkeys) along with Ctrl+1234567890-= and Shift-1234567890-= are all icons you can drag either items or spells into, right from your inventory or spellbook or spellbar. You cannot drag armor from the paperdoll onto icons, although you can drag armor from slots.

Using something will attempt to equip or unequip it. There is no current way to cast spells out of a wand at the moment.
Healing kits, lockpicks, food of all kinds, mana stones and arrows will all automatically replenish themselves from your inventory if more are available.

Alt-1234567890-= switches pages.

You'll want to hold down the ctrl button to show the expansion buttons.

Also there are hotkeys that correspond roughly to the spellbar (insert - move down a page, pageup - move up a page, page down - go right, delete - go left) along with new hotkeys (home - move up a row, end - move down a row) and the button to use an item is now SCROLL LOCK (Note: if you use Virindi Tank, this is also a VT hotkey).

the wording on the title tread is a little misleading, at FIRST glance i thought your Preview of a new plugin suggested that this plugin was Defective, not NAMED defective. maybe Preview of Dysfunctional replacement plugin???

Is there anyway to make it display salvage workmanship on individual bags?

Not at the moment. I'm curious how that would be useful, though?

Agnari, there's not much I can do about it now.

When you have all your packs full of salvage, it would make it easy to find say two bags of five, a bag of six, and a few of nine or ten. I know it would make my in-game experience easier, but I don't doubt I keep more salvage than most people though too.

VI was working on the functionality at some point, but I think dropped it, haven't seen anything since an old screenshot months ago.

I understand that, but I'm curious how displaying it in the replacement hotbar would be helpful unless you're adding multiple types of the same salvage to it.. which I guess would work, but isn't something I actually ever thought about before.

hggm: My CompHud plugin* also can auto-sort stuff. Might help some already if the salvage is sorted

Haz: I was thinking beyond just the hotbar, hoping more for the functionality to be added to the main pack and packs. Not saying it could be done, again, just following up on a old screenshot that showed this type of tech.

If it was just for the hotbar, then yeah, I guess it wouldn't be viable. Never hurts to ask, and I will still be using the hotbar replacement.
