It will mess up your system and it isnt something you can just delete!

People have been using Vtank for years and I haven't heard of any problems with the install. What exactly did it do?

Try and delete it.

Also after I put it on my system I now have explorer running a hidden window using a crap ton of my cpu.

The only thing that doesn't "just delete" is the virindi view service, and Virindi herself even posted detailed instructions on how to remove it on her wiki. There are hundreds of people that use vtank on a daily basis with no such problems.

I am not saying the macro doesnt work guy I am saying the Dl puts more on your computer then it lets on and the steps she gave for uninstalling do not work.

You ever stop and think why this plug in installs into places no other plug in does?

You mean the "virindi plugins" folder? Could it be because more than one program is installed (vtank/v reporter/v huds/etc.)?


There are a number of plugins that create their own folder for installation.


Edit: It sounds like another person who "can't read instructions/follow directions/take time to learn about a program before using it" strikes again.


And just so ya know....I just closed my IE windows and opened my task manager. No "hidden" browser pages running. No idea what you got going on bud.

I have deleted vtank/virindi programs before. No problem at all.


Did you install the bundle, or the stand alone vtank (which hasn't been supported in about a year)?


Also...did you dl from virindi's site, or from a second hand dl site?


Edit: Curious now where you dl'd vtank from. The dl from the official site is a very small .zip file. The actual plugin files aren't dl'd until you run the installer package from the zip.
