It would be good to have one separate, always-on mirror of the decal installer along with the latest beta. Perhaps sourceforge or something like that? The decal dev webserver seems to be less than fully reliable. Surely there is some other free site/service that can reliably and securely mirror the files...

Actually, this is the decal mirror that's down. The main site never came back up.
I've posted the installer here:

I think Virindi will do something about the xmls shortly. |

I wouldn't post them. Right now they are only temporary download locations, not actual mirrors. Since they will probably only be maintained as-needed, it is better to not mention them unless they are needed.
Like I said before, the real thing will probably be online again tomorrow. If that server has had a hardware failure, I will go ahead and complete the move to the new location w/o finishing the new site.
It's only been a few days so just wait it out. It's not like we have a huge influx of new people to the game...

Dark, they've had LONG standing policy of only approved mirrors, those (few) approved mirrors have ALWAYS been Decal Core Dev controlled. It's not personal, it's policy. Honestly I support this policy, while the potential for mischief is low, the damage caused if it WERE to happen could be IMMENSE....
