except that it updated and is running but will not start up in game  I open the AC client and Decal is nowhere to be found. I wonder if that's because I had deleted and reinstalled it a dozen times.... |

If you uninstall 2965 to go back to 2960, you have to use the decal reg clean utility. Unfortunately, it is on the site that is down...

Nope, it's on the skunkworks sourceforge site (as Greg made it)

So, i assume support will continue for decal? just An issue with the hosting location?

Thanks for posting on this thread everyone. I have been having decal trouble for the past 24 hours. I went through the all red X issue and just updated the updater address as suggested. Thanks a lot for the updated addresses.
