Having an issue with decal working properly...

The bar loads in game with all icons, but none of the plugins will operate.

I've checked all avenues of fixing the problem and none have seemed to work
Any help is much appreciated.

[Portal Path] : C:\Program Files (x86)\Turbine\Asheron's Call

Every guide that tells you how to get decal working with AC starts off with stating that Asheron's call, decal, and all plugins should not be installed in the program files directory. Create a c:\games and install everything in its own folder under there.

Post another export. It should of cleared up after you reinstalled AC and Decal to the new folder.

I was having issues with the vtank automatic updates filter so I turned it off and have been using it for 3 months or so.
When I turn it on the client crashes from the character selection screen. when I turn it off vtank won't work.
So far everything else seems to work. Kinda.

Believe you need netframeworks 1.0 and maybe 4.0 installed for some plugins.

Did you install the virindi bundle? or just some of the standalone virindi plugins? You should do the bundle as I believe only the bundled versions of things like Vtank and such get updated/support.

Obviously, the good advice is, since you are on Win 7, everything should be installed to c:\Games instead of Program Files(x86), and Run as Administrator when installing the plugins....

Also, all of your C++ libraries are missing... this:

Your Decal bar showing means that Decal is likely working... but the support libraries that -aren't- required for Decal ARE required for many individual plugins. You should get some of the stuff Yaroz has posted in the sticky thread up top of this forum.

Decal will run fine without those. I am not sure about virindi though. I do not know the pre-req's.

Since you are only having problems when virdini tries to do the update I would guess there is something blocking the update like a virus program or firewall. Have you tried disabling windows firewall and your virus protection? If you try that make sure you turn them back on afterwards even if it does help.

My bad twice, was working off of the original posted problem, and didn't notice the second export.. sleep deprivation will be my formal excuse..
