People in my clan are reporting with the newest version (.15) any toon that has a ' in thier name like Strider's bow, will not authorize. All other toons without the ' in name auth fine.

Yep, I fixed that a couple hours ago...I had fixed it on the secondary server but not the primary one since the primary one had been offline.

Are there plans to make the profile creation easier? I think I need to be mr wizard to set this thing up. The external programs to build the combat profile and loot profile aren't nearly as easy as they are in Lifetank. Know what I mean?

The only thing that needs to be edited outside the game is looting...and yes, I still have plans to make that easier at some point.

so if I am having problems with LT, I will reaqlly have problems with Virindi?.. I am tired of having to create a new profile for every char I have, I play some 10 different chars

The main goal of VTank is that it should operate as well as possible with as little configuration as possible, yet still be configurable if you need to. I would say that it meets this pretty well, with the exception of looting, which is essentially 'alpha'.

looting is the main reason I use such things..

One bug I noticed is that there is no cap on salvage combination.... So if I have 2 bags of wk10 hog, both at 90 units, it will combine them into 1 bag. Lifetank is smart about this and only combines bags when there is only a marginal excess.

Hmm. I have tested a char with an apostrophe and it seems to be working fine...is it possible this was a transient problem?
