Heya Mag, couple thoughts/suggestions about mag-tools:


Could Cloak/Aetheria Level be in ID info?


Mob ID could use more information, especially current/overall health info. It's nice to be able to track health on mobs/pvp you can't assess. Simply "- Spindar, 385/429" would be plenty.


The auto-loot chests option doesn't turn off for me. Just thought I'd mention it.


Trinket imbue/tink spells do not list on ID.

Any chance you expand the auto ID stuff to automatically log all toons on an account, and write the ID info to a file? Then I could use my own home rolled parser to make trade lists, sort by cantrip or set piece, etc...

I've been using imp inventory to do this, but its cumbersome. I have to relog each toon myself, sit around for the 3-5 minute id process, rinse, repeat. Seems like something I could run while making dinner

Next ver will have aetheria surge tracking. I'm gonna try to add cloak surge tracking as well.

Using 4 sword chars to test over a period of about 7 hours, where each char was exposed to the exact same number of monsters, all with surge of destruction aetheria:

Char 1, 3 lvl 4 aetherias:
Total Attacks: 5975
Surges: 389 (6.5%)

Char 2, 2 lvl 3, 1 lvl 4 aetherias:
Total Attacks: 5986
Surges: 292(4.9%)

Char 3, 3 lvl 3 aetherias:
Total Attacks: 5689
Surges: 259(4.6%)

Char 4, 2 lvl 3, 1 lvl 2 aetherias:
Total Attacks: 5920
Surges: 268(4.5%)

Looks great. I am looking forward to figuring out more about the specific benefit of the different levels as well as the effect of the luminance aug on surge rate.

can you add the option not to ident stuff in my storage chests when i open them(at least remove the chat output)?

If you were talking about auto ID'ing the contents of all my mules, including auto logging to each, I wasn't able to figure out how that worked. Anyone care to contribute?

I installed the .dll into a its own folder and copied the VTClassic.dll into the folder (leaving the original in the VirindiTankClassicLooter folder). I have also tried just moving the VTClassic.dll directly into the MagTools folder I created. What I am trying to say is that I followed the installation instructions on the codeplex site.

When I disable the MagTools, the drop down menu in Vtank for the loot profiles has my profiles in it, but when I leave MagTools active, the drop down menu does not drop down and I cannot save a new loot profile. (I am aware that this has a small amount to due with the functionality of MagTools, but I am just trying to lay out the symptoms I am experiencing

Can this be fixed? I am really excited to use this awesome tool!
