Where to go for Go Arrow update? |

I'm having issues with GoArrow crashing my system because of an issue with ACMaps.com. Is there a fix to that yet?

Try editing Hosts file and add this line.
127.0.0.1 www.acmaps.com
You should be able to find the file here and edit with notepad.
\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\Hosts
You may have to restart your computer in order for this to work.
If acmaps comes back up you will have to remember to remove that line.

Any chance we can use this trick to forward to "http://db.tt/6UlVIW" ? Do you have a spare Public IP you can assign to this virtual directory 6U1VIW? =)

Unfortunately the file is hosted on Dropbox.com so I can not assign it a public IP address. If you have any thoughts on ways to get around that limitation, I would be absolutely happy to hear them.

I found this did not help. Goarrow still timed out waiting for a response.
I put an entry into the hosts file pointing to an actual working web server that I have access to, but Goarrow still
took it's time waiting for a response. I checked the web server log files and found Goarrow was looking for a file
named dungeon_ids.csv. I created a zero byte file with that name on the web server and Goarrow then loaded very quickly.

HEHE! Create a default redirect in your webservers root to "http://db.tt/6UlVIW" so that by accessing your own webserver by IP it redirects to the real update location. Then post the public IP of your webserver here for the rest of us to use in our hosts file! =)

Try this:
add to your hosts file at C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
173.160.225.172 www.acmaps.com
There is an empty file, dungeon_ids.csv, that Goarrow is looking for.
Goarrow will find this and be happy, no more time-outs!
If acmaps ever comes back, you must remove this entry from your hosts file.
You WILL NOT be able to use www.acmaps.com as a URL to update Goarrow.

Is that when saving your hosts file?
You may have to edit it as administrator or
the file may be flagged read-only.
