Hello all, wondering if I can get a hand. I got a new laptop earlier in the week and have been working ever since trying to get decal compliant with Windows 7, 64 bit with DirectX11. Some of the plugins work, but most are not, example, the Virindi Sidebar, or the arrow for go arrow. In fact goarrow isn't working either. Also, sounds don't seem to be working in the plugins.

Both AC & Decal are installed into c:/Games/

I've tried with random settings, run as administrator, run with compatibility mode for WINXP, Switching the injection method. I've also updated everything and completed multiple fresh installs of everything. I've also tried to "downgrade" to directX 9 as apparently directX11 is missing one of the key files required for decal. I've also tried with & without firewall. Ports are setup correctly.

Game logs np issues without decal, hangs for a bit and I dont see the virindi updater running like I used to. Instead I have at the full vials, I ALT-TAB out and go back in and Im at the player selection screen and I can log in from here.

No need to "downgrade" DirectX. 9.0 and 11 can be installed side by side.

Try enabling that and see what happens.

Update GoArrow to the VVS edition.

You also don't have .Net 1.1 installed. I'm not sure if any of the plugins you have installed need it.

As I said before, you might want to try the VVS version of GoArrow. It's on Virindi's website, but you can find a link to it on the Wiki. (I also noticed that you aren't using the VVS version of SkunkVision either.)

You don't need .Net 1.0 so don't worry about that. It looks as if you got 1.1 installed, but you uninstalled 3.0 and 3.5. I would reinstall those.

In your computers bios, can you disable the onboard video so that your computer will just see the separate video card? It's possible that there is a conflict by having the onboard video enabled as well as the separate video card. (If I am understanding you correctly.) The DirectX error could be that you didn't install the proper DirectX. If you haven't already, try downloading DirectX from the link in the sticky (List of links for decal and associated necessities.. ) at the top of the forum. You can also try decreasing your resolution. Or you may want to try windowed mode if you aren't using it already. The resolution looks a little odd to me.

I have just finished uninstalling and redoing everything step by step just to make sure i have it setup correct. HI Logan, thanks for the info as well. I've done that list a few times and followed every step but #1. Im about to roll back the system and hope that helps. I didn't get a install CD with my Dell last week only a drivers disk. Duh... you don't need to install GoArrow... the VVS version is included with the Virindi Bundle.

When you went to install the Virindi Bundle, did you extract it first? I can't find the post of someone that had a similar problem, but I think it was because they were trying to install without extracting. That would explain why it's missing the ICSharp file in that screenshot.

I'm just going to go run AC in Admin also to see if that is what caused the issue as well as lower the resolution to see if that works. Any Advice anyone can offer to my Screen Shots & logs, please let me know.
