I've tried everything and I'm about to give up. I have VTank installed and have also tried using various other decal programs but nothing else will work. In AC I see the VTank module panel to the left with all its components but I can't see the Decal toolbar anywhere with the other programs. Upon entering AC it will show some of the programs as being loaded in the chat window but I have no way of accessing them. I've completely removed AC and Decal and all components from my computer, reinstalled them all into C:\AC directory (someone said not to install in program files) and the same thing is happening.

Ok, I just loaded up AC with nothing checked in Decal and I still see the AB icon at the top left, which leads me to believe what I thought was the VTank toolbar is actually the Decal toolbar. I've been gone over 5 years and remembered seeing the Decal toolbar at the top of the screen. It's just wierd that VTank works just fine but nothing else I try to run will work, even when all the VTank boxes are unchecked.

Here's an example. I unchecked everything and added ACPowerSaver, a cool little Decal tool that limits the framerate of AC so your GPU doesn't run too hot. Upon entering AC I see this in purple in the chat window:

Which leads me to believe it's loaded. However, when I changed the setting to 1 and 9 (by typing /powersave X) the framerate in my house stayed at ~330. So it's like the programs are loading but just not working? I don't know. I've wasted too much time on this and need to crash!

Have you tried 2.9.6.0? 2.9.6.5 is a 'Beta' version last I knew, sometimes they have issues.....

Question .. The AB icon (Decal toolbar) you saw in the upper left .. did you attempt with the mouse to drag (the right edge of it) and slide to the right, and see if there were any icons that way. I know I can slide mine left, and can collapsing it to a single icon.

2.9.6.5 is the recommended release.

I've tried to move it but no dice. I remember when I used to use Decal in 2006 I would have sliders I could "grab" and move. I don't see them any more. Here's a screenshot of what I'm working with:

And I'll throw my vote in also. Have you tried the newer 2.9.6.5 Decal installation?

It's a bit more bullet proof. I been playing for over 10 years, and have both versions among my computers here. Give it a try and see if it smooths out the problem.

I did a complete uninstall of AC and Decal last night and reinstalled everything in my C:\AC folder. That included the beta 2.9.6.5 installer from the Decal website.

And .. ?
