Hi, Friend of mine just got a new puter with Win7 and installed AC (working fine) and decal 2.9.6.0 (working ok has bar ingame), installed Vtank (working fine in game) but has the following problem. Sorry don't have a export from him.
When he opens decal on desktop everything looks fine, all checks are black and everything in game working fine but it will not let him check or uncheck any plugin. When he tries to check a box the plugin line highlights in blue but the check mark doesnt show up in box. Also he can't uncheck any that are already checked.
Have never seen or heard of this before, hoping someone else has a clue whats wrong.

I have seen this happen with one of the beta versions AFTER 2.9.6.0
Did he attempt to install any other versions before installing 2.9.6.0?

See if there is a hud or vvs view hiding underneath the decal window.

Just remembered what the cause was.
Willing to bet he has decal installed in the x86 folder or the program files folder. Somewhere besides c:/games.

Oh, nevermind, I just read it again and it sounds like it is describing the decal windows app. The description is a bit confusing.

Yeah. Its basically a read/write problem from being installed in a protected folder.

Unfortunately when using the "default" install for decal 2.9.6.0 it doesn't give you the option where to install it, just goes directly into the programfile (x86) folder. I'm running Win7 64bit and my decal is installed in the same folder and works fine.
Working with him to uninstall and trying the latest beta, see what happens with that.
