They resurrected the "double/triple strike" daggers of yore in new top tier versions. These weapons have a 420 weild req, but they can be devastating in pve and pvp.

If you do go dagger just remember that dagger damage is determined by coord.

I thought dagger was useless damage wise?

Dagger has the lowest damage over time of all weapons.

However, pvp is not based on damage over time, it is based on "burst" damage. If I swing a sword at you over and over but I don't do enough damage to overcome your healing, you will never die. If I triple swing a dagger at you and I crit twice in one swing, you wont be able to heal out of it.

A triple strike 420 dagger can do incredible burst damage if you get consecutive hits.

Therefore, although dagger lags behind the other weapons in damage over time (only SLIGHTLY), it can be effective in pvp (if your opponent doesnt immediately shield).
