I used to be a diehard AC player, had a lot of fun playing for many years (awhile back). It made a big impression on me however, like many of you I feel that no game has come even close to the thrills and excitement AC gave me.
In the meantime I've done other things, I've become a geological engineer and I've spent two years at a glass-working school in Italy. I decided to undertake making a sculpture that was both functional and very close to me. I wanted to make an Atlan Claw.
I won't babble on and on about it, I will just let the pictures speak for themselves. I'm excited to share this with the AC community, I hope you guys take some joy in seeing a real-live Atlan. This is a one-of-a-kind object, and each further reproduction would be the same, totally unique and hand-made. The claw is sculpted by hand then cast in glass while the stone is hand-blown. It functions well as a lamp, emanating a beautiful soft light that is variable depending on which stone colour you'd prefer.
This is my way of preserving the awesomeness that was and is AC... making it real!
