Depends....
The "new release" would need current generation graphics, a foolproof and dependable way to defeat bots, numerous 'animation break' fixes and some sort of public auction house and mail system.

New release would require a retro server, circa 2000. Done. As it is I can hardly play this bastardized version of the game.

no ac has a graphic engine 11 years old. I already pay as much as wow to play it. Not going to pay more.

Honestly if it can give the same amount of fun I've had in AC1 sure I would. I would actually pay 20 a month for it. In all honestly I don't think anyone else would be capable of giving me that fun factor other than turbine simply because they have already done it once with AC1.

No.
Although I love AC and would welcome a true successor to AC they'd do well enough with the current standard of $14.99.
