Is my brisket any good?

Is it possible to smoke a brisket that is too tender? After the brisket rested for about an hour last night I unwrapped it from the foil and cut a piece to test it. I've never had brisket so tender. To the point I think I will actually reduce the cooking time. When I tried to pick up a piece it just fell apart. Wasn't planning to make sandwiches with it but I may wish I did.

if the "flat" of a brisket falls apart it means you over cooked it.
the "flat" part of a brisket should have some firmness and it should be pink in the middle with the smoke ring visible along the outside edge.
