I think you get bounced if you don't come off as religious in their survey.

Yep. Or if you aren't Christian.

That sounds like paranoia to me. They are a match making business.

Same thing happened to me years ago. About a week later, they started sending me matches that I really had no interest in. Glad I didn't pay for it for long.

I got the same response when I took their profile test-thing. I wasn't spamming, though. I was answering honestly.

Good thing I was just doing it out of curiosity!

I was going to criticize this, but you can't properly refute a point made with such silliness.

Their system is much like the systems a lot of employers use for their "personality profile" multiple guess tests.... Even though it asks 200 questions, it's really only about 60 questions, but they're rephrased different ways multiple times to see how differently you answer them..

I've come to the conclusion you fail at multiple guess tests...

I tried it, and it worked fine. Most of the women I met were non religious like myself.

You just explained exactly the failing of a 200 question dating profile setup. The vast majority of the questions are redundant and unnecessary. A dating service shouldn't be set up like a Wal-Mart employee quiz on steroids.

I answered the 80 or so that were most relevant to my priorities, and left the rest at the middle setting, which generally means "somewhat important" or "don't care".

But considering the personality analysis they gave was pretty darn appropriate after what I did answer, my guess is they just didn't want my personality type on their website. Was just trying it out for the free weekend, though.
