marker is an easy concern....paint easily fixes that and is relatively cheap
same with the window blind....you might even find that some pledge takes it off
the tv...might be upsetting
you probably shouldn't post about pulling a knife on someone on the interwebz...even if it is in self defense

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'm not too worried as long as it cleans up and there isn't any property management/police at my apartment problems.

This will sound weird but try marking over the permanent market with dry erase marker. I've done that before (granted not on a tv) and it worked.
