Glad you enjoyed most of it. I'd suggest not doing that again. I am 100% sure that i'd be dead if i had one of my wrecks without a helmet.

Three, all sports related. First time round I got kicked in the head while at the bottom of a ruck, which is when the two teams in Rugby Union form an impromtu scrum over the top of a downed player who has the ball, you sort of curl yourself around it facing your own team and the opposing team can only claim possession if they drive over you, it is usually not too bad unless you happen to be in an already dirty game at which point it becomes brutal, I had my face stepped on once and a stud (cleat?) went right though my bottom lip.

Second time round I was at Cricket practice batting in the nets against a spin bowler who was trying to refine his action, he was pretty slow and just working on technique so in my infinate wisdom I was batting helmetless, sadly a batsman in the next net over pounded a ball right at the net that somehow managed to find a tear that no one had seen just as the guy bowling to me was releasing. He panicked and let go of the ball and it flew straight on at head height, I moved one way and sadly the crappy old practice ball which he had been using to bowl at me was apparently just ripe to swing in the muggy air and I swear to god the thing tracked me right into the side of my head, woke up a couple of minutes later in the back of a mates car on the way to A&E (ER).

Third time round some ass learning to ski had decided that he was ready for a red run ten minutes after first putting boots on and came crashing into the back of me while I was calmly wieghing up a little kicker on my snowboard, I heard him screaming turned my head to look upslope and tried to turn but he was going just about as fast as any bugger I have ever seen one ski in the air and then bang lights out time, woke up 50 yards downslope in a tangled mess with the guy, I was pretty bashed up all over and had a nasty cut on my leg from one of his edges and im pretty sure if I had not been messing around with jumps and park stuff that day and had left my helmet at the chalet like I usually do I would have been a hell of a lot worse off than the mild concussion I ended up with. Needless to say I don't go on a mountain without a lid these days.

Just one, when I was about 10.

Was walking across the top of the monkey bars and turned to jump off. My foot caught in the rungs and when I fell my head hit those huge square wooden beams they used to use to mark the boundary of the playgrounds. I was only out for a few minutes at most- apparently my younger brother and sister ran home to get my dad (only a couple houses away from the playground) and I remember waking up over his shoulder- he was at the neighbor's house asking them to watch the two younger ones so he could take me to the doc.

No lasting harm that I'm aware of!

Yes.

Three car sandwich accident. I was driving the middle car. I still have a bump on the skull from it. My head was bounced hard enough that it hit the metal post INSIDE the headrest of the seat.

Gave me near constant vertigo, dizziness, headaches, & nausea for about 10 days.

One time I was at a party and we ran out of booze, so I ran home and got a half gallon of vodka from my stash.. was walking back to the party (late) and I saw a cop car coming.. Being a small town with douchy cops and the fact I wasn't 21, I ran and dove in the bushes, only I didn't know there was a stone wall buried behind them. Things went dark for a second, but I didn't pass out.

Mom says I had 6 before I was 18 months old. I'm not 100% sure thats accurate as I would think having that many tough bumps on the head would cause for some sort of lasting problems. Apparently my parents had to tie me down because I kept jumping off beds and out of cribs and such. Last one (apparently I finally got some sense knocked into me) was me climbing up my brothers bunk beds and not knowing how to get down so I jumped.

First came when I climbed the ball cage thing at K-mart when I was 4, fell from the top and busted the back of my head open.
