a child is full when the same amount of food comes out the back side as its going in.

I wish I'd had that problem with my kids, I was always trying to give them something to get them to eat. My daughter had bad food allergies that made it hurt when she ate, so that association was really difficult to break, and my son had major texture issues because of a Neurological disorder. With my son, at least after we figured out what textures he didn't like, he would eat some stuff, but I always worried that he wasn't getting enough variety.

Edit: but as I recall the common practice was to feed them until they started playing with the food more than eating it.

How old is she now?

E was a bottomless pit up until he turned 3.. Nonstop eating.. He would eat more than me.

Kid was growing like crazy though and very active. Now that he is a bit older nearly 4 his growth has kind of evened out (he has been in the same clothing size for 8 months now and has only gained about 5 pounds) and he doesnt eat nearly as much.

I would just make sure that you are feeding her healthy food, we tried to keep healthy foods for him to snack on like fruits and veggies. and talk to the doc if you are concerned

I out eat the really big guys at work all the time. It's become a running joke. Since I have gained muscle mass I am no longer 1/2 their size, but still a lot smaller than them.
