BTW, WTF was that inadvertent whistle about??
as a ref, when these things happen I feel better about that I screw up sometimes too
1: they messed up and it should of been a touchdown for the Lions (well assuming nobody tackled him)
2: the whistle came on a live ball.. therefore the play is dead at that very second.. The Saints had possession at that second.. It should of went back to the Saints
lol the refs made up their own rules and gave the ball to the Lions
I wouldn't be surprised if that crew doesn't work another playoff game...
sucks being a ref sometimes.. a half a second mistake like that can really knock back your achievements and progress

The lions were too far into the playoffs this year is what warranted the whistle. He really did it for the entire league.
