I use a 50 oz French press made by bodum. In the morning I throw a tea kettle on and that's enough. 50 oz is plenty
We have a metal thermos that keeps the coffee nice and hot

The Oatmeal Butterscotch paired with a Snickerdoodle
turned my cynical penis into a happy vagina
Then after an Oatmeal Cranberry and Double Chocolate,
it made my new vagina spontaneously sing the Trolololo Song in an elevator.

see, Fozzie understands!
I actually have two french presses of the standard size, but that's because my daughter and I like different kinds of coffee, and she gets to take the "old" one when she moves out.
I love the keurig right now though, hopefully it doesn't break like Cutt's.

Mangler had an accident on the way home from the liquor store. He was run off the road and crashed into a woman's clinic. It was one giant Pabst smear.

See there? non-snarky news I can use.

Indeed. I have recently completely abandoned all plug-in espresso makers in favor of the stove-top metal italian model. grinding my own espresso has made a LOT of difference in how good it turns out.

French Press
once you have a good cup of french press coffee you won't want anything less
downsides to the french press:
- You have to heat the water yourself, separately
- It only makes 2-3 cups, so much less than a "whole pot"
- It doesn't keep cups 2 and 3 warm while you drink cup 1
Is the coffee good enough to make up for those problems?
Rho
I use a french press at work.
Yes the coffee is good enough to make up for those problems AND prevent me from killing someone when papers land on my desk at 5pm with a due date of 8am the next morning
Edit:
Do you descale your keurig?
