I don't really remember I do remember someone was on his account tho poseing as a relative and he hasn't been around in a very long time on that account so for all intents and purposes it could be true.
I think there was something verified in a local paper back then as well if you put stock in such things.

Liver failure and I called the Medical Examiner's office there in Austin and confirmed he died so unless he is a zombie...link for his obit was posted as well.
I also was in contact with his wife(?) for a little while afterward. His FB page had condolences all over it as well so, yeah.
