Criticizing Ron Paul for not passing bills in Congress is like criticizing a nun in a whore house for not turning tricks. He was there to stop the whoring not become one.
And while being completely ineffective keeps running for the position, gets his salary and benefits paid for by the people, complains about Government, and ultimately does nothing. He seems to be awfully comfortable in his role as someone who can't change anything.
Not voting for wars, not voting for bills that invade people's privacy, not cramming through tons of expensive programs...
Sometimes not doing things is doing something. A No vote is as much of an action as a Yes vote. A big difference with Ron Paul is that his No votes aren't toeing the party line. He tries to shut down legislation from his own party if he thinks it's bad for the country, because he isn't just trying to get his name on something.
Also he's one of the few who will get up there in front of congress and speak to them like the American people would. Doing nothing? He's doing more than any of them.
