When you get food delivered in an apartment building

Are you suppose to go to the front door and meet the delivery guy, or is it acceptable to expect them to come to your door after you buzz them up

that would have broken up the monotony of being in Los Angeles in the summer working the friggen night shift, my co-worker that went with me didn't even share the same days off that I had so we couldn't do anything really.

depends on the delivery mode, if they are on bike, they can walk up to the apt itself. if they in car and can't double park outside and get expensive ticket. you'll come out.

It depends a lot on the neighborhood too, I'd imagine. If I were a delivery driver and had to bring something to a bad neighborhood, damn right you'd be meeting me outside...
