How much do you procrastinate? |
Im the absolute worst for it. If i have something major that needs doing, i'll find a hundred tiny but time-consuming things to do instead. Right now i have something huge that really needs doing, and instead im thinking how long it has been since i last re-arranged the furniture etc.
Really i know deep down i should just "man up" and get it done, but damn... why is procrastination so easy?

I've never had a problem with procrastination - my problem is there are not enough hours in the day to finish everything that needs to be done.

At work, never. I get things done as quickly as possible, because I don't want people harassing me about 'when are you going to get x done', and because I always have a mountain of stuff to do. So I just do things the instant I get them, and then have a bunch of time to work on something else (with a few spare moments to make a post here).
At home, it's a bit more frequent, though I don't procrastinate on things like dishes or kitchen cleanup, because I cannot stand to have the house smell like old food or garbage.

At work I never do. I don't really feel pressure at work because I either don't really care or it isn't time sensitive
I procrastinate on things like getting a new job and whatnot, but I tend to just take things in stride these days. I find myself being more happy and efficient the lesser I stress over stuff. I have been pretty cynical and jaded from how I used to be and coming to that realization has made me much happier

Im the same about dishes etc... when i lived in the hovel in London, our kitchen was, at best, unsanitary. Like, it was so bad that at one point myself, my friend and her mother cleaned this kitchen for a whole day, and we still couldnt get rid of all the grime and stink. And because of the people who lived there, it was right back to square one in a week  . Since then, i HATE a messy kitchen, because i never want to go back to even close to that ever again.
