accuweather says that there is 12.7 inches of snow on the way in my zipcode.

I'm supposed to take my Mum to the doctor tomorrow

I guess it's time I find out if these AutoSocks are really as good as chains!

http://www.autosock.us/

I used them a few years ago during the snow that shut down Seattle for a week. I made it to and from work everyday.

we didn't have that much snow though, it just lasted a long time.

Unless you're in Tacoma, NOAA says differently, and they've been, by far, the most accurate, in my experience.

Click on your location on the map to get a pretty good local forecast. They get things correct for my house that nobody else even has data for.

I'm not in Tacoma, I also don't live in the valley, I'm at around 450ft elevation, my parents are around 600ft. we are considered foothills areas.

I'm over 600 feet and literally in the foothills. But the storm isn't pointed at Bellingham, so I won't get much.

It's not just a matter of elevation.

no profanitysherlock, but it is pointed at us, and not being in the valley means that whatever thawing they have tomorrow isn't like to affect those of us higher up. Not to mention, I'm not in Tacoma, and NOAA totals for Wed/Thur can go as high as 13" for my area.
