So going by this logic, technically straight adoptive parent are truly the best parents<.>
No child can truly grow up balanced seeing two dads or two moms while their peers have normal families.

2 parents, man and a woman?
1 parent, a women?
1 parent, a man?
Foster parents, Opposite sex?
Foster parents, Same sex?
Foster parent?
Option #1 is not as common as it used to be and not for as long as it used to be. According to your "Balanced" requirement, very few will be balanced. That makes them "abnormal" and the rest "normal."

By that logic, there are fewer and fewer "normal families" out there. Would love to know how many kids actually have a Mom and Dad that both live in the same home.
