welcome back, we had internet but no power for several days, thankfully we weren't a one off outage like so many of them are.
at least the outages are giving me more time to finish my homework.

Good lord, we had power the whole time but no cable or interwebs - it got boring FAST. I did knock out like 5 books I've been meaning to read though, and I did a little alpine touring around the neighborhood on my skis lol

I wasn't really bored when I lost power the last few times for 5 or 6 days.
Most of that time is spent gathering wood, tending the fire, cooking food warming water to bath. Also gathering water from the lake to filter and use in toilets. Any free time was spent drinking.
it sucks the first day as you get withdrawals from all the electronics, but after that, you rough it.
