my problem with origin is that i have steam. i don't want another service like it that i'm forced to use. i also don't appreciate them thrusting a buggy beta pos onto us that has, in it's eula, information that they are allowed to remove games from your account after 2 years of you not playing them.  fking ridiculous. can you imagine if steam suddenly put that in? obviously they wouldn't because steam is about the customers. i just really don't trust ea and therefore, do not want to deal with origin. i have to because i play bf3 and it pisses me off to no end then too.

Does it say you lose entire access to them? or just that you lose whatever info is on the cloud save games and settings I also noticed that games I bought pre-origin now show up in origins launcher would those games be included in this as well?
I didn't read the end user agreement just assumed it would be like steams my internet is always on but there are plenty of games I don't play all the time and could eaisly go a year or two without touching then want to play again. Plus if I pay for it I don't want to pay for it again 2 years later just because some company decides it needs more of my money.. if this is true EA needs to GTFO! 
they used to be such a cool company too could always count on them to put out quality oh well it won't stop me from picking up ME3 and Kindom of Amalur when they come out this year but if they ever delete games w/o my permission I will never pay a cent towards them again it's easy enough to pirate if they want to push me that way most games have full on-line functionality within a week or two so it's not like I'd lose much enjoyment they'd just lose some cash doubt my piddly $60/game really matter tho in the grand scheme but it would make me feel better

remove the games not the save data. i'd have to dig for that thread again on. i'm not even sure if it was on the bioware forums that it was posted or elsewhere.

really who pays for offline single player games 
besides that fact what about people that dont have internet.
my friend is a gamer but he lives out in the middle of bfe with no internet service of any type where he lives, but he picks up new games as often as we do.
If he needs to patch his xbox or something he comes to my house to use the internet.
