I have a Kindle and I love it, but there are certain books I still by physical copies of. Anyone else?

I have an Entourage Edge dualbook (e-reader + tablet) and I LOVE it, but the battery died.  The company went out of business, so the batteries are really hard to find. I loved that thing though, I read stuff on the e-reader side every day on the subway...mostly O'Reilly books and downloaded scientific articles, it was GREAT.
Now I'm debating between whether it will be worth it to drop the money on a new battery for a device that will never run better than Android Froyo, or give up and just get a Kindle or Nook. I'd rather have something non-proprietary, I have to admit.

I use my kindle almost exclusively, but I have physical books that I collect.
