Some schools have the zero tolerance for violence deal. I wouldn't be surprised if some workplaces do as well. That being said, go ahead and fire the old ex-Marine defending himself and see what happens in the PR world!

Based on Wal-Mart's idiotic policies the guy will probably be fired. But no one should be deprived of the right to defend themselves, Wal-Mart can DIAF.

I had to go to wal-mart today to buy a belt because I was in a hurry.
It's the first time I think I've been in one in two or three years.
Despite being in a town I've never been to before, all the same people were there that were at the one that I was in the last time.
Wal-marts scare me.
