I'm not entirely. Actually, let me state this differently. I feel that if you kill someone's animal in a malicious way, the owner should get to kill you if they so choose.

I've been homicidal before. I grew up with voices telling me to murder my parents, but with medication and therapy i know what to do when i get these commands, how to ignore them/ drown them out. Every time i've had a risk assessment done i have been categorized "danger to herself and others". Should i be put down?

No, since you haven't acted on them...
Many times people commit these acts because they have been failed by the mental health system. Not all, but it does happen. Im not defending this person, i think what they did was despicable and they should be brought to justice for what they did, im just saying that the attitude of "put them down because they are mentally ill" doesnt help anybody.

We went from locking people like sooz up for their entire lives to protect them from themselves and society to letting them roam free without any restrictions or over sights. One extreme to another.
