Nope, no need. He is going to blame his predecessor for inheriting all his problems (partially true as always) and Congress for not working with him (again, mostly true as always). He will completely misrepresent his role in creating the mess we now have and promise that only he can fix this mess that he is equally responsible for (as was true with his predecessor).
In other words, he is going to do what every President before him has. If you play for his team, grats, your idiot is in charge. If you play for the other, suck it up, your idiot helped get us here. If you play for neither, lament that we are at the mercy of these 2 lunatic parties that have proven to be incapable of actually performing their jobs.
