8) Lynn Dickie
9) Roger Staubach
10) Brett Favre

Certainly ahead of anybody in bold.

And an argument could easily be made to put him ahead of the the rest of them.

You're putting Brady ahead of Young? That's rich.

Oh, wait, you're one of those "championships are what makes a good player" sorts, aren't you?

clearly there are some seriously retarded standards for that list!
hell, he has the turnover king and a guy who threw more int's than TD's on the list.

if you had credibility in sports topics, it has all been lost with that list. Chogram is correct about the decision on Manning...look for it at the end of Feb. or right at the beginning of March. i know my gut, i have been discussing with friends that the situation will be ok, and Manning will be in a Colts jersey if healthy this year.

after hearing a interview today i now have a different feeling...actually ready to put money on it, that Manning wont be in a Colts jersey next year...sadly. i pray im wrong, but even Unitas (that wasnt on your list) went to SD at the end of his career.

Steve Young winning % 65%
Tom Brady winning % 77% (best in NFL history)

Steve Young career passing yards (15 years) 33124

Steve Young career TD's 232
Tom Brady career TD's 300

Steve Young games started: 143
Tom Brady's games started: 159

Steve Young's seasons as TD leader: Four
Tom Brady's seasons as TD leader: Three

Steve Young's seasons as passer rating leader: Six
Tom Brady's seasons as passer rating leader: Two

Steve Young's seasons as completion percentage leader: Five
Tom Brady's seasons as completion percentage leader: One

Steve Young's career rushing yards: 4239
Tom Brady's career rushing yards: 716

Steve Young's career rushing touchdowns: 43
Tom Brady's career rushing touchdowns: 10

You can only compare players within their era. Steve Young was playing alongside Brett Favre, John Elway, and Dan Marino, so it's not like his peers were slouches. He was a great quarterback, and he's in the top ten of all time. I think he's better than Brady, and a lot of people agree with me. I can accept someone thinking otherwise, but anyone who thinks he's several places lower than Brady in the all-time greats list is smoking something, or is one of those wack-jobs who thinks that rings equal greatness.

Young also played during the Run focused era... Brady plays in the era where its all about passing the ball. RBs are becoming less and less used as runners so QBs stats are going way up.

Bet he won't leave. Most of this hype is all driven by one source, ESPN. The same gaggle of retards that actually not only predicted Boston for going to the World Series, but winning it too.

I can't let that go
