Want SB to answer a question, this is the place.

1) What initially brought you to ACF?

Playing AC on Morningthaw, and used to visit the MT boards a lot until I found this board. As you can see by my post count, I was more of a reader than a poster.

2) What do you do for a living, is this a career or a job?

I work at Intel, making the final layers on CPUs and Intel chipsets in a cleanroom environment. I've been doing this for 16+ years, so I guess it's a career because no one else will pay this much to do this work. In other words, I'm not looking to change careers or change my job anytime soon.

3) It appears you are a Detroit Redwings fan. Is this because you are a communist? Hockey your favorite sport?

Why the Redwings? Communist...ha! Hockey is my favorite sport to watch, and I like the Red Wings because when I started getting into the game, some 25-ish years ago, the guys who introduced me to hockey were from Michigan and Red Wings fans. I started following both the Red Wings and the Canucks and still like both teams.

4) What do you do for entertainment outside of ACF?

A lot of hanging out with my family, reading, watching ice hockey or Discovery/TLC/Military Channel, goofing around on my computer, some golf. With 12-hour shifts, the off days are precious.

5) If you were asking 20 questions to Stormyblade what is a question you would ask? And the Answer to that question? What's the story behind your moniker?

It's a reference to the sword, Stormblade, from the Dragonlance series. Every character I create in a game now has Storm somewhere in it.

6) Whats your most favoritist possession?

I don't really have one - I have several items I like to have around, but there's no one favorite. I've got a business card with autographs from the guitarists from Night Ranger, I've got a flyer autogaphed by all the members of Starship, .50 cal casings from the first .50 cal machine gun I ever got to shoot, trinkets from my travels. I like being sentimental I guess.

7) What did you do on your first date ever?

Spent a very long time trying to figure out just how those damn bra clasps work! (Yes, I finally got the bra off, and I loved those boobies!!) Oh, and we played miniature golf before that.

8) Whats something not many people know about Stormyblade?

I'm a very sarcastic son-of-a-b**** in real life. My daughters and wife never know if I'm just joking or being an ass. I'm also fiercely loyal to my family and do as much as I can to provide them the best life I can.

9) Whats your favorite food?

It's a toss-up - I love a good lasagna, with meaty sauce and plenty of cheese, or a good baked salmon.

10) Whats your RL defining moment so far?

I've got two -- the first was finding out I was going to be a father of twins, and the other one was having to make a choice about what I was going to do in life because my dad said he's not paying for college anymore if I'm not going to give it full effort. So he said get out and get a job or join the military. I ended up joining the Navy and am grateful I got that little "kick" I needed to get my life started.

11) What do you drive?

A gold 2007 Jeep Liberty 4x4.

12) What does Stormyblade want to be known for?

On ACF? I don't try to troll or post in posts I don't believe in. (Unless it's a response to a HIOFI, of course - those are just fun to respond to.)

13) If you were a movie character, which would you be and why?

I'll pick two: Tom Hanks in Big, because in some ways I've never really grown up nor wanted to. To this day I still love watching some cartoons, especially Warner Bros with Bugs or Marvin, I have *all* the Voltron series on DVD...see where I'm going with this? And the second character would be the Colonel that Jack Nicholson played in A Few Good Men. There are times that I can so stubborn that I just know in my bones I'm right and nothing and no one will sway me or change my mind. That, and I actually admire his whole thought process on just who he is and why he does what he does and how he rationalizes that side of him in that speech of his at the end of the movie. I've wanted to yell that same speech at many people in my life.

14) When you were a kid, what did you think you were going to grow up to be?

I don't rememmber what I wanted to be as a kid, but as a teenager, I wanted to get into these new things called computers and do programming...maybe work for these "new" companies called Apple or Microsoft. Anyone else remember the Apple ][+ with 48k of RAM and no hard drive?

15) What keeps you coming back to ACF? There's some people on here that really get me annoyed, but there's also plenty of good fun here. Takes my mind off the work issues.

16) What was your childhood dream?

Travel around the world, meet my natural parents (I was adopted at 3 months). I've been able to travel around some of the world, thanks to the US Navy and carrier deployments.

17) What's your most embarassing moment in RL?

Well, without revealing too much, I'll go with this: I was around 17 and had this crush on this girl I had met a few times, but at that time I was far too shy to reveal this crush to this girl or my close friends. I was thrown a surprise birthday party and there were a bunch of people hiding out in the house, waiting for the right moment to jump out and surprise me. Of course, I knew nothing about the group of people hiding. My good friends and I were swimming in a buddy's pool, playing Marco Polo. Somehow the subject of my "crush girl" came up and I was trying to deny any attraction I had for her and said stuff along the lines of ... "She's not my type, I prefer a girl that's built different" "I don't even think she knows I exist" and then I popped out a couple comments ... "Actually, I don't think she's all that pretty" "I could do a lot better than her, why even bring her up?" to try and throw them off track. They looked at me funny, but then the subject got changed quickly and we continued swimming and playing Marco Polo. About 10 minutes later, I was "it" and dove down to try to tag someone. When I came up, I heard this chorus of "SURPRISE!" and opened my eyes to find all these people around me.

Guess who was right there in front?

Yep, the girl I had a crush on. She obviously had been crying too - her eye make-up was dripping and everything. You know what? Sometimes it doesn't matter how much you try to explain something...they will never forgive you.

18) Why was Stormyblade chosen as your user name?

Kinda answered this one earlier - it's a reference to the sword known as Stormblade in the Dragonlance series, and in my first game that I tried to use that name it was already taken so I added the 'y'. I've just used that name since -- keeps me constant.

19) You've just won the lottery, whats the first thing you buy?

A custom home in Colorado Springs area. Nothing super extravagant, but a home built to the specs my wife and I decide on, about 3000 sq ft would be fine.

20) What's your favorite place?

I grew up in a small little town of 5000 outside Sacramento, on 5 acres, in a 2500 sq ft house. We had a stream at the back of the property, a pond, blackberry bushes, and grass on 3 sides of the house. If I could retire and not have to worry about money, I'd love to live there again.

The Redwings and the Canucks, my two least favorite teams. You probably smell bad too.

If you think my opinion is idiotic, re-read yours.
Dont worry I will give my opinion anyways.
The PvP MMO is NOT a "niche" market, Mythic is just a "niche" company.

If that is the best you can do, ok, some bolding or italics would not hurt though. Just sayin.
