I've never mistaken a weekend for a weekday, but I've mistaken the wrong weekend day, or the wrong weekday.

It is enough that I actually look at the day of the week in the morning (2 votes)

Not strictly checking every day or anything, but particularly when I was on the night shift I lost track of days all the time. I still do frequently even on a day schedule though. Mostly it's which weekday it is rather than confusing a weekend for a weekday or vice versa though.

I often sometimes wonder if I should be at work on the weekends

All the time. I work from home and work all kinds of weird hours, pretty much every day of the week, so it isn't unusual for me to not know what day of the week it is.

yes.

I woke up 2 times in one week in highschool thinking I was running late for school...got up, ran and took a quick shower and went downstairs only to notice it's pitch black outside and my parents were still asleep (my Dad wakes up at 4:30).

and I think it's the wrong day of the week for large parts of the day quite often...probably has something to do with me sitting inside most days doing just about nothing.

Definitely. The only way I'm keeping things straight now with how busy my life is is by what part of the state I'm in.

Yes, but typically its when I have a ton of overtime as I do now. (12 hr night shifts on a 2on-2off-3on-2off-2on-3off schedule normally, 3's are fri/sat/sun)

Days end up running together :/

Last week I thought Sat was Sun most of the night, only to be disappointed when I realized it was Sat and I had to work Monday as well.

Hey Norm, you hear about the studies being done at Johns Hopkins about the Y chromosome of persistent bar troublemakers?
Yeah, they found a striking similarity between that and chronic droolers and idiots.
