it often makes for some great last minute plays. Lets say they did the foul strategy thing and now the teams are tied with 6 seconds to go. Inbounds play for a last second shot and photo finish, it's some exciting stuff.

great endings would be like what Reggie Miller put up with is 9 points in a few seconds or what ever.

Plus there was that crazy Spurs/Grizzlies game last year in the playoffs where the teams took turns making buzzer beater after buzzer beater. I think that game went into triple overtime or something. Epic.

Right now, the NBA has 4 of the 10 most marketable players in any U.S. sport. Granted, the compressed schedule has hurt the quality of play, but it has also led to some quirky and entertaining as hell games.
Meet me in real life and if you can honestly call me fat, then your definition of "fat" is far different than mine. I am simply a properly proportioned human that's much bigger than you. Sorry if that's too difficult to accept.
And yes, the decline of the NBA started in 1989. And no, I don't prefer the Pistons. They were the beginning of the end.
The absolute Golden Age of the NBA were the 1980's with the Lakers/Celtics rivalry. The league has never been the same since.

You'd have to be 7ft+ tall for 300lbs to be even close to not overweight.
